GENERAL REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
     1. Foreign nationals visiting Thailand for pleasure and are nationals of and
         holding valid passports or travel documents issued by 41 countries
         (please see list) are permitted to enter the Kingdom without visa and
         may stay up to thirty (30) days provided they hold confirmed plane
         tickets for their onward or return journey Extension will not be granted
         except when there are special circumstances that hinder their
         departure. Visitors who may wish to stay longer than 30 days are
         therefore advised to apply for an entry visa from a Thai diplomatic or
         consular mission before their arrival in the Kingdom. Other foreign
         nationals who wish to enter the Kingdom must apply for the appropriate
         visa corresponding to the purpose of their visit at the Royal Thai
         Embassy or Consulate.
     2. Foreign nationals may apply for the Thai visa in the Republic of the
         Philippines at the following:

     3. Visa applications are accepted by the Royal Thai Embassy, Manila on
         Monday to Friday from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.
     4. Passports and visas are released at the Embassy after two working
         days between 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
     5. Visa applicants must submit the following:
         a) valid passport or travel document (at least 6 months valid)
         b) application form(s) completed in full
         c) two (2) passport size photographs
         d) airline ticket (s)
         e) hotel booking or voucher
         f) appropriate fee
         g) supporting letters or documents (please see Attachment I)
