TYPES OF VISA AND REQUIREMENTS
1. All applicants must be of the citizens of the Philippines, and other
    nationalities who reside permanently in the Philippines having the
    rights to return to the Philippines using the same status. For those
    who are holding temporary visitor status only, whether for tourist or
    business, the Embassy cant process for visa applications unless the
    approval from the Indonesian Immigration Authority must be submitted.
2. Applicants must hold a clear, readable, perfect passport/travel
    document which must be submitted when applying for visa. Any torn
    found in the passport, although small part only, will not be honored.
    This will include that passport must have at least 3 (three) blank pages left.
3. Passport must have validities at least on certain time stipulated at visa
    requirement applied for from date of entry into Indonesia. For the 11
    nationalities whose countries include in the visa – free short visit
    facilities who wish to travel into Indonesia using such facility, the
    passport must have at least 6 (six) months validity upon arrival in Indonesia
4. Applicants should fill in the correct visa forms according to the purpose
    of their visit. The visa form must be filled out clearly in capital letter.
    Illegibility may prevent your application to be processed.
5. All questions must be answered, and all documents in support for
    visa application must be submitted completely. Failure to do so may
    result in delay or disapproval of visa application.
6. One recent color picture size: 1 ½ X 1 ½ inches of the applicant must
    be submitted for application. Length of picture time taken must not
    more than 6 (six) months.
7. In case the absence of applicant to submit personally visa application,
    the applicant’s representative may do so in his/her behalf provided
    that visa form has been filled out completely and signed by the
    applicant, and all supporting documents must be in complete upon submission.
8. All applications are subject to approval. Submission of visa applications
    does not necessarily mean that a visa will be granted.
9. Applicants whose applications subject to approval from the Indonesian
    Immigration Authority should not purchase their tickets (ex. Plane,
    boat, etc.) before the approval for the application is received.
10. If granted, a visa will be released on the due date stipulated in the visa claim stub provided that the signing officer has no urgent appointments.
11. Upon releasing for visa, the visa fee should be paid at the release
    counter. The payment is in form of cash and local currency (Philippines Peso).
12. In case the absence of applicant to claim personally a visa, the
    applicant’s representative may do so in his/her behalf provided that
    the applicant issues the letter of authorization. The representative is
    encouraged to bring his/her identification card for clarification.
13. Once certain visa is issued by the Embassy (stamped in the applicant’s
    passport), it cannot be transferred to another type of visa under any
    circumstances. Otherwise, the visa will render invalid.
14. The granting to visa is, in effect, only a form of pre-clearance. It does
    not serve as a permission to enter Indonesia. The Indonesian
    Immigration Authority has the right to refuse entry into Indonesia
15. All visa regulations are strictly adhered to for the good of each and
    every individual who wishes to visit Indonesia, in order to prevent any
    problems and complications upon their entry to Indonesia.
16. All visitors, regardless of their nationality and purposes, who wish to
    travel Aceh, Moluccas and Irian Jaya must obtain a special permit
    from the Indonesian Immigration Authority, and also the State
    Department in the capital city of Jakarta before entering these areas.
17. It is most desirous that any travelers to Indonesia understands and
    duly respects the Indonesian Immigration’s regulations as well as the
    Embassy rules.

TYPES OF VISA
I. A FREE SHORT VISIT VISA
Nationals of THE PHILIPPINES, MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE, THAILAND,
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, HONGKONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATION
REGION (SAR), MACAO SAR, CHILE, MOROCCO, PERU, and
VIETNAM, shall be granted a free short visa for a maximum stay of
thirty (30) days.
• The travel valid for purpose of tourism, social-cultural visit,
   governmental visit and attending convention/seminar/
   conference.
• The extension of maximum stay may be permitted subject to the
   approval from the Minister of Law and Human Rights, for case of
   Force Majeure, to wit: extremely bad weather conditions, serious
   illness, or serious accident.
II. VISA ON ARRIVAL
Visa on arrival is granted to the citizens from countries of USA,
AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, ARGENTINA, BRAZIL, DENMARK, UAE,
FINLAND, HUNGARY, UNITED KINGDOM (BRITAIN) ITALY, JAPAN,
GERMANY, CANADA, SOUTH KOREA, NORWAY, FRANCE, POLAND,
SWITZERLAND, NEW ZEALAND and TAIWAN upon arrival at the
immigration check-point at designated airports/seaports in
Indonesia for maximum stay of thirty (30) days.
• The travel valid for purposes of tourism, socio-cultural visit,
   governmental visit, and attending convention/seminar/conference
• The extension of maximum stay may be permitted subject to the
   approval from the Director General of Immigration in Jakarta, for
   cases of Force Majeure, to wit: extremely bad weather condition,
   serious illness, or serious accident.
• Change/Fee for visa on Arrival will be collected at the Immigration
   counter of port of entry
III. TRANSIT VISA
Valid for the purposes of in-transit in the territory of the Republic of
Indonesia intending to continue journey to another country, and a
captain / crew members intending to sign on a sea vessel / aircraft
which is operating in Indonesia. Valid maximum of 14 (fourteen) days
and good for single entry within 3 (three) months from the date of issue
and non extendable.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Two pieces of visa application form for transit.
• Two pieces of recent, colored picture (size: 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport (valid at least 6 months upon arrival in (Indonesia).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned Seaman’s Book (for joining vessel/aircraft only);
• Original airline ticket.
• Formal letter of request for visa from the applicant, local agent or
  shipping agency stating the name of the vessel/flight, date of
  departure from Manila, next country of destination after Indonesia
  and the complete name, address and telephone number of the
  agent in Indonesia.
• Formal letter of guarantee from the local agent or shipping agency
  in Indonesia agency stating the name of the vessel/flight, date of
  departure from Manila, next country of destination after Indonesia
  and the complete name, address and telephone number of the
  agent in Indonesia.
• Photocopy of POEA and OEC contract (for joining vessel/aircraft only);
• Photocopy of Philippine immigration documents, such as: ACR
  and ICR, and Re-entry permit (for non-Filipino applicant).
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
  Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
  period of the stay in Indonesia (if any/for selected nationalities).
  Visa Fee: 825pesos/person
IV. VISITOR’S VISA
Valid for official purpose, tourist, business, and socio-cultural visit;
maximum length of a stay up to 60 days, extendable in Indonesia (except
for tourist purpose), and good for a single entry within three months
from the date of issue.
Tourist Visa (for nationalities not included in the list of Free Short
Visit Visa Facility and Visa on Arrival)
REQUIREMENTS:
• Two pieces of visa application form for visit.
• Two pieces of recent photos, colored picture (size: 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport (valid at least 6 months upon
   arrival in Indonesia). Airline booking certificate (must be round-trip/on-ward).
• Formal letter of request from the applicant, showing purpose of
   trip, length of stay, place to be visited and flight schedule.
• Copy of proof of income (bank certificates, ITR or bank book).
• Formal letter or guarantee from the sponsor in Indonesia (if any).
• Photocopy of Philippine immigration documents, such as: ACR
   and ICR, and Re-entry permit (for non-Filipino applicant).
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
   Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
   period of the stay in Indonesia (if any/for selected nationalities).
   Visa Fee: Php1,925.00/person

OFFICIAL/BUSINESS/SOCIO-CULTURAL VISIT
REQUIREMENTS:
• Two pieces of visa application form for visit.
• Two pieces of recent photos, colored picture (size: 1 ½ x 1 ½
   inches).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport (valid at least 6 months upon
   arrival in Indonesia).
• Original round-trip / on-ward / through airline or boat ticket
• Formal letter of request for visa from the applicant, local agent or
   company stating purpose of visit, place to be visited, length of
   stay, flight schedule and name and address of sponsor on Indonesia.
• Formal letter or guarantee / invitation from the sponsor /
   organization / company in Indonesia / agency, stating purpose of
   visit, place to be visited, length of stay, flight schedule and the
   complete name, address and telephone number of sponsor /
   organization / company in Indonesia.
• If the sponsor is an individual/personal capacity, the following should
   be submitted:
   a. Photocopy of KTP or national ID (for Indonesian sponsor), or
       KITAS and passport (for non –Indonesian sponsor).
   b. Copy of proof of income of the sponsor.
• Photocopy of Philippine immigration documents, such as ACR
   and ICR, and re-entry permit (for non-Filipino applicant).
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
   Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
   period of the stay in Indonesia (if any/for selected nationalities)
   Visa Fee: Php1,925.00/person

JOURNALIST VISA (press visit or film/video/photo shooting in Indonesia)
Press visits or film/video/photo shooting in Indonesia may be carried
out after an approval from the authorities concerned had been obtained
For the approval and visa, the following requirements must be submitted
to Information Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in
Manila.
• A letter of recommendation from the company
• Summary of the company  Curriculum Vitae
• Completed visa application forms (one copy for each applicant)
   with original signature of the applicant, typed or written in black
   capital letter.
• A synopsis of proposal of the film or photo project with details
   such as timetable, location and duration of stay (enclosed for filming
   purposes only)
• A signed statement for film/video shooting (enclosed for filming
   purpose only).
• Three (3) recent passport-size photographs: two (2) of them must
   be attached on the Visa application Forms.
• A signed statement of the visit of equipment which will be reexported
   to the Philippines
• A clear photocopy of the passport (main details only)
   Following the approval from the authorities in Indonesia, we will advise you
   to bring the passport to the Embassy to be stamped with the necessary
   visa which will be ready to collect by three working days.
   Please note that the decision of the approval by the authorities in Indonesia
   will take approximately three weeks after receipt of the completed
   aforementioned requirement
   Upon arrival in Indonesia please proceed to the Directorate of Information
   and Media the, Department of Foreign Affairs and provide 3 (three) recent
   photographs (3 x 4 cm – size) to collect your press card or the film permit.
   It is advisable that you have a local partner in Indonesia to do your filming project.
   Visa Fee: 1,925 pesos/person
V. MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA
Strict valid for business visits only. Good for several journeys /multiple
entries within the allowable maximum validity of visa and each stay
not exceeding than 60 days. The initial journey must be executed
within 90 days from the date of issue.
REQUIREMENTS
• Two pieces of visa application form for visit.
• Two pieces of curriculum vitae
• Two pieces of recent photos, colored picture (size: 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport (valid at least 6 months upon arrival in Indonesia).
• Original round-trip / on-ward / through airline or boat ticket
• Formal letter of guarantee from the sponsor in Indonesia (if any)
• Photocopy of Philippine immigration documents, such as ACR
   and ICR, and re-entry permit (for non-Filipino applicant).
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
   Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
   period of the stay in Indonesia (if any/for selected nationalities)
   Visa Fee: Php 4,125.00/person
VI. LIMITED STAY VISA
Valid for the purpose of investment, expatriate employment, dependent
(wife & children, research, religious duties, repatriation for ex-Indonesian
nationals, and regaining Indonesian citizenship. The length of stay in
Indonesia will depend on the approval set by the Indonesian Immigration Office, extendable in Indonesia and good for a single entry
within three months from the date of issue.
REQUIREMENTS
• Two pieces of visa application form for visit.
• Two pieces of curriculum vitae
• Two pieces of recent photos, colored picture (size: 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches).
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport (valid at least 6 months upon arrival in Indonesia).
• Original round-trip / on-ward/ through airline or boat ticket
• Formal letter or guarantee from the sponsor in Indonesia (if any)
• Photocopy of Philippine immigration documents, such as ACR
and ICR, and re-entry permit (for non-Filipino applicant).
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
   Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
   period of the stay in Indonesia (if any/for selected nationalities)
   Visa Fee: Php 3,300.00/person
VII. RE-ENTRY PERMIT
This permit is intended as an extension for the existing re-entry permit
for a foreigner possessing Limited/Permanent stay permit in Indonesia.
It entitles for entry to Indonesia until set date indicated in the re-entry
extension permit based on the approval from the Indonesian
Immigration Authority in Jakarta. The issuance if this permit is subject
for the approval from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in Jakarta,
in which the sponsor in Indonesia is the one applying for such approval.
REQUIREMENTS
• One piece of completely-filled-out visa application from for visit (several);
• One piece recent, colored photograph with size of 1 ½ X 1 ½
   inches, taken not more than six-month, to be attached on the
   space provided for;
• Valid, perfectly-conditioned passport at least 6 (six) months valid
   upon arrival in Indonesia;
• The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in
   Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and
   period of the re –entry extension to Indonesia
   Visa Fee: Php 920.00/person
Processing time: 3 (three) working days or unless otherwise stipulated
