CENTER.
In order to set an appointment & lodge an application for an Austrian visa or for information on visa

All landline calls are charged a toll call
charge costing Php18.00 per minute, plus applicable NDD charges for calls made outside Metro Manila. Pre paid PLDT Touch
Cards are charged Php22.00 per minute. Calls from Globe payphones are charged at Php25.00 per minute. Globe Handyphone
and Touch mobile subscribers will be charge a rate of Php24.00 per minute. SMART mobile subscribers will be charged
a rate of Php23.00 per minute.
Customer service representatives are available from 6:00am to 10pm Mondays to Fridays,
except on public holidays. Recorded information is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. None of the Visa Call Centre numbers
are available to callers from outside of the Philippines. Please bring the following documents on the day of your appointment: General
Requirements for Application of a Schengen Visa at the Austrian Embassy • Personal appearance of applicant •
Application form signed by applicant or legal guardian • Valid passport (six 6 months
beyond validity of requested visa), with at least one blank page to affix
the visa and passport copy • Previous passports, if any, inc. copies of all used pages
(previous visas and entry-and exit stamps) •
1 recent passport photo • NSO- birth certificate + copy •
Flight reservation, corresponding to validity of the visa applied for • Travel insurance
(Reiseversicherung), valid for all EU countries, Switzerland and Norway,
with a minimum medical coverage of Euros 30,000. The original policy should
be presented only upon pickup of the Schengen visa, together with one copy
of the policy. (insurance policies of the followingPhilippine insurance companies are accepted: Fortune General Ins. Corp, Generali
Pilipinas, MAA Assurance, Malayan Ins., ACESecure, Blue Cross, PHILAM Ins.,
MAPFRE Ins., AIG Assist, Paramount Life & General Insurance Co., Standard
Insurance Co., Insurance of the Philippine Islands, Global Ins., Pacific
Internat./Bon Voyage Ins. Certif.) • Consular fee in cash (please provide the exact
amount, as we cannot give out change). Please note, that the consular fee
needs to be paid upon application. The visa fee will not be refunded, if
the application is denied. • Proof of sufficient financial means •
original bankbook and copy, dating back one year • proof of employment incl. payslips
of the previous 6 months and authorization of leave • tax statement for the previous
year. • notarized guarantee letter / (notariell beglaubigte Verpflichtungserklärung)
of inviting party.
Please note that new regulations regarding ‘Verpflichtungserklärung/electronic guarantee
letter’ have come into effect as of March 01, 2007: The host in Austria has to contact the competent Austrian Foreign
Police (Fremdenpolizei) in order to register for an “electronic guarantee letter /elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung”.
The Austrian Foreign Police will send this “electronic guarantee letter/Verpflichtungserklärung” to the Embassy.
The applicant needs to notify the Embassy concerning the “electronic formal obligation/ Verpflichtungserklärung”
ID number that was given to the inviting party. - Additional documents of the inviting party, in
case of a guarantee letter: payslips for the previous 3 months as well as copies of their
passport, Meldezettel and proof of living conditions (Mietvertrag or Grundbuchauszug) and,
if applicable, proof of relationship to applicant. - business licence, bank book and tax statement
in case of self-employed applicants Additional documents - Medical certificate issued by a local doctor, a certificate of planned
treatment issued by the doctor/hospital in Austria as well as proof of sufficient financial means
to pay for the treatment in case of applicants seeking medical treatment in Austria. - Relevant
documents needed to get married in Austria. (legal capacity of Filipino fiancé(e), proof
of marriage counselling certificate, set date for wedding in Austria issued by the Austrian
local registrar. (Terminbestätigung für die Traung beim Standesamt) - Proof of enrolment and authorized
leave of absence in case of students. - Applications by minors have to be signed by both parents
and accompanied by an authorized leave of absence and enrolment issued by the school as well as a travel clearance for
minors issued by the relevant local authorities. Business travellers may substitute the financial proof by a company guarantee letter
and a guarantee letter (no notarization necessary) of the company in Austria, as well as proof of travel insurance and
flight reservation . The Embassy may require further documents in individual case Submission of fake documentation as
well as untrue statements given in the application will result in denial of the visa as well as possible legal action
