LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS
TOURIST VISA
• Passport (with validity of at least six months).
•
One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport
holder,
and of the last page where the signature of the Officer of the
Department
of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Consulate of the Republic
of the Philippines
appears.
• One passport size photograph (1.5”x 1.5”).
•
Airline ticket (original and photocopy).
• A photocopy of U.S, Canandian, or any other
European Visa is required
depending on the route of the trip.
•
One valid Identification Card (ID) original & photocopy including the
backside.
Please present any of the following:
•
Driver’s License
• SSS / GSIS
ID card
• Company ID
•
Valid Student ID
• Financial solvency. Provide ALL of the following (original and photocopy):
•
Valid International Credit Card (including the backside where the signature is found)
•
Paid Credit Card Statements (3 most recent months)
•
Updated bank Statements / Certifications
•
Updated Passbooks/ Bank Books (front page & page with last updated amount)
•
Income Tax Return Paper (if employed)
• Certification of Employment (original).
•
Personal Appearance.
SEAMEN TO APPLY FOR A TRANSIT VISA
• Passport (with validity of at least six months).
•
One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport
holder, and of the last page where the signature of
the Officer of the
Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Consulate of the Republic
of the Philippines appears.
•
One passport size photograph (1.5”x1.5”).

• A photocopy of U.S, Canadian, or any other European Visa is required
depending
on the route of the trip.
• Letter of guarantee from the authorized shipping line in
the Philippines. (original)
The
letter must indicate the next port of destination.
• Letter of guarantee from the authorized
Mexican shipping agency/
company sent from Mexico to fax no. (63 2) 892-9824, stating the
duration of stay, date of
departure of the ship from Mexico, as well as
indicating the port where ship will board and next port of boarding.

Original & photocopy of the Certification of Employment issued by
the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
•
Valid Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book issued by the authorized
Officer from Maritime Industry Authority,
Department of Transportation
and Communication, with a minimum of atleast six months experience
in the maritime activities.
Copy of the pages containing information
and picture of the holder, and photocopy of the page containing the
signature
of the issuing Officer.

TRANSIT VISA
